Metalysis has identified titanium markets as its next target area.
Through its subsidiary, Metalysis Titanium Inc, and its strategic partnership with BHP Billiton, the Company is aiming for two broad markets – the major bulk markets being predominantly aerospace and the petrochemical industry; and the niche titanium powder markets, where higher margins can be achieved. Further down the line, we will also produce titanium alloys.
It is our intention to license out the production of titanium on a bulk scale but retain production capacity in-house, for the higher value niche markets.
