Dr George Chen MSc, PhD, DIC, CChem, FRSC, FRSA
George conducted further fundamental work into the process at Cambridge before moving to become a Reader at Nottingham University in late 2003. He has continued his research writing over 20 acclaimed papers on the subject, many of these in collaboration with Wuhan University (China).
George was appointed to Associate Professor and Reader in Electrochemical Technologies in early 2006 and has developed a broad expertise in molten salts electrochemistry, metallurgy and corrosion control at elevated temperatures in addition to his world leadership in the FFC Cambridge process.
