Alan C Bissell
Alan has a background in chemistry and extensive business and general management experience in the speciality metals sector. He joined the Board in July 2005 as Chief Commercial Officer and will be using his strategic and business development experience to further develop Metalysis’ international commercial base.
In May 2007, Alan was appointed President of Metalysis Titanium Inc, a subsidiary of Metalysis Ltd.
Following various research posts in the Pharmaceutical industry, Alan has spent the last 28 years gaining a broad experience in the fields of speciality metals and engineering. He has held four managing directorships with major international companies including Sheffield Forgemasters, Allegheny Teledyne and ATI Allvac. Alan has experience of start-ups, turn-arounds, joint ventures and management buyouts and his last post was Managing Director Commercial for ATI in Europe, a strategic business development role.
