Laurence Garrett
Laurence Garrett is the local director for the Cambridge office of 3i. He joined 3i in 1994 from the San Francisco office of Deloitte and Touche, has a degree in Computer Science from Sheffield and an accountancy background. His own speciality is in early stage technology companies. Laurence represented 3i on the Boards of CSR (IPO on the London Stock Exchange), Trigenix (sold to Qualcomm in 2004), Adaytum (sold to Cognos in 2003), STNC (sold to Mircrosoft in 1999), and UbiNetics Ltd (sold to CSR in July 05).
Laurence currently sits on the Boards of Cambridge Semiconductor, Elixent Holdings and the Cambridge Network. He lectures on the MBA course at Cranfield.
